Joe Hill: Alive As You and Me tells the story of the legendary IWW organizer and songwriter, his life, death, and martyrdom. Using images, songs, and stories, Tom Kastle and his guitar use Joe’s life as a lens to examine the shooting war between capital and labor from 1890 into the 1920s. Tom’s musical activism began with becoming a founding member of Madison’s Solidarity Sing Along, the longest running protest sing in America, sometimes joined by the likes of Peggy Seeger, Tom Morello, Jackson Browne, Arlo Guthrie and Masha from Pussy Riot.

Dan Seavey: Confessions of A Great Lakes Pirate is a one man play for adult and young adult audiences that looks both comically, and seriously, at the life of the Great Lakes pirate of all time. As with literary contemporaries like Long John Silver, Seavey is portrayed as a colorful character, but flawed, and a man who has done terrible things but, in the end, you are wishing him well and cheering a bit as well.
